Moche Valley is an area around Ciudad de Dios, area of Moche people (pre-Incan). In order to preserve these sites, Dr. Brian Billman, an archaeology professor from UNC-Chapel Hill, created a partnership with Ciudad de Dios & develop an NGO, MOCHE (Mobilizing Opportunities through Community Heritage Empowerment). Volunteers work closely with MOCHE in Ciudad de Dios & other outreach communities to continue past & current projects.

Latrines...yahoo!
Here is a latrine that is about 50% complete. There is a maestro who leads the cement mixing, brick laying, platform forming, etc craze :)
